Is a family-own project that was born in the community of San Dionisio Ocotepec, in Oaxaca, and is dedicated to the production of unique and limited batches of 100% artisanal mezcal.

Our mezcal family preserves the traditional techniques of handcrafted mezcal production, focusing on the quality and authenticity of each batch, as well as on the variety of wild agaves.

RAÍZ OAXACA MEZCAL label was designed by a local artist and refers to the most important tradition of our State, the Day of the Dead, which is celebrated every November 2nd. For Oaxacan families it is a tradition to set up altars on that day, which are decorated with flowers, food and drink, since tradition says that on that night our loved ones who are no longer with us come to visit us, and we welcome them with what they like most; food and mezcal.

RAÍZ OAXACA MEZCAL is an ambassador of the tradition and culture of Oaxaca, we celebrate our communities and share our mezcal with the world.
